Adoption Process

Considering adoption? Our adoption process was created to ensure that our dogs are place in homes with loving families who will care for them furever.

Adoption Process

  • 1. Submit On Line Application

    Fill out an application with Shelter Luv. Be sure to include the dog you are interested in adopting. A team member will reach out within 24 hours to verify the application received.

    Note: It can take up to 2 weeks to process an application.

  • 2. Phone Interview

    If application is approved following completion of processing:

    Complete a phone interview with your adoption coordinator and set up a meet and greet with any other household members and pets.

  • 3. Meet and Greet

    Complete your adoption by paying the adoption fee of $150 and setting a date to receive your dog from the rescue.
