Transporter
Love dogs but unable to have one of your own? Volunteer with Reed’s Rescue to help transport pups from shelters, foster homes, vet visits, to adopters, etc. Times, dates, and distances all flexible and vary. Sign up for what you can and no pressure to do what you can’t! It’s a great way to help those senior and hospice dogs in need and allows Reed’s Rescue to save more pups!
Event Volunteer
Want to hang out with some really fun people at really cool events and help senior and hospice dogs? This is the position for you!
Application processor
If you’re not close by to help in person, do not fear! We have remote volunteer opportunities that include helping our foster and adoption coordinators process our incoming applications. This may include calling references, vet offices, landlords, etc. We will provide you with a script, flow sheet to follow, and any other resources you need.
General Volunteer
Seeking flexible people that are willing to help when needed! This may include an errand, calling a potential adopter, posting things on social media, etc. You’d be our on call person for various needs! No time commitment, just willing to help if available.
Pet Sitter
Have you always wanted a dog but don’t have the time commit or travel too much? Here is your chance to take in a dog for a short stay! Volunteer to be a pet sitter or doggy hotel for when Reed’s Rescue foster parents have a vacation or need someone to watch their current foster pup! All supplies included. This position may be at your home or the foster home depending on preference and situation. Also, it may include a dog walk during the day if needed for a working potty break.
