BOARD MEMBERS

Erin D

Foster & Adoption Coordinator

Erin has been part of Reed’s Rescue since 2023, when she began fostering a beautiful senior dog named Max. Her dedication quickly grew, leading her to join the board, where she now serves as the Foster and Adoption Coordinator. Erin is especially passionate about helping senior dogs, inspired by the memory of her own beloved seniors, Monty and Maddy, who passed away at 15 and 16 years old. She has fostered numerous dogs through Reed’s Rescue and continues to open her home to those in need. When she’s not fostering, Erin enjoys spending time with her family and staying active through pickleball and tennis.

Meghan Bullinger

Secretary

I began volunteering with Reed’s Rescue in October 2022 after discovering the organization at a local 5K event. Believing my calm home—shared with my two cats, Pepper and Harry—would be a great fit for senior dogs, I started fostering and have since welcomed eight foster dogs, all of whom have found their forever homes. In July 2025, I proudly joined the Reed’s Rescue Board as Secretary. Outside of rescue work, I am a Procurement Coordinator by profession and enjoy journaling, painting, reading, spending time with my family, and snuggling with my cats at my home in Parkville, Maryland.

Terri Ball

Operations Team

I am Terri, and very excited to be joining the board. I’ve been involved in dog rescue since 2012.  I have had over 40 foster dogs come through my home.  I describe fostering as the most rewarding thing I do, as well as the hardest.   I am a teacher and I work part-time in a nonprofit art studio, supporting artist with disabilities.  In my spare time, I am an astrologer, I play hockey and run and participate in triathlons.

KATE BELL

Founder/President

Kate lives in Northern Baltimore County with the namesake, Reed! When not doing rescue work, Kate is a nursing professor and case manager. She also coaches’ tennis at Garrison Forest School. The passion for saving senior and hospice dogs started with her first dog, Lilly and her first hospice dog, Diamond.

April O’Neill

Finance Coordinator

April lives in Baltimore County with her husband Tim and 2 rescue dogs Turbo and Murphy.  She has an accounting and finance background and keeps the Reed's Rescue books balanced and organized.  She describes herself as a dog crazy lady trying to help find homes for the adoptable shelter dogs in Baltimore.  She does this by fostering dogs, transporting dogs, walking dogs at several local shelters and networking dogs on social media.  In her spare time away from the dogs, she enjoys reading, cooking, and sampling great food and drinks from local restaurants with her friends.

Lindsay Jacks

Foster & Adoption Coordinator

Lindsay joined Reed’s Rescue board in 2024 serving as a Foster and Adoption Coordinator. Lindsay shares her home with her husband, Sean and their zoo including Orchid, a 19-year-old shih tzu adopted from BARCS at the age of 17, Daisy, a 6-year-old shih tzu, 4 cats (all are special needs), 8 birds, a box turtle, snake, tarantula, and 4 fish.  All of Lindsay and Sean’s babies were adopted from local animal shelters. When Lindsay is not caring for her many pets, she runs a bird conservation non-profit, rescues wildlife, audio describes live theater to patrons who are blind or have low vision, and hosts a little free library turned free pet pantry in her yard to help people and pets.

Jessica Boyd

Grant Manager

Jessica resides in Baltimore, Maryland with her husband Brian and their rescue dog Hank. She is passionate about animal welfare and advocating and protecting the underdog, opposing breed and age discrimination. Jessica finds inspiration in nature, being active, and reading a good book. She is very happy to be part of Reed’s Rescue, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to homeless dogs in Maryland.
